Trends of chemical ordering in Pt-based nanoalloys

چکیده
Nanoparticles of alloys represent a very interesting subject for fundamental research and, at the same time, lot useful applications in industrial catalysis, microelectronics, sensors and medicine. Their properties depend on atomic chemical structure which has been intensive researches. This paper presents some trends theoretical predictions ordering surface segregation Pt-based nanosized systems, especially transition noble metals catalytic, magnetic optical are well known. By associating two different metals, it is possible to improve selectivity or increase anisotropy tune plasmonic resonance absorption, but question how species will mix demix they be distributed core nanoparticle. give general overviews concerning Pt–X, X=Co, Pd Ag systems obtained from atomistic simulations. It make link between configuration adopted by nanoalloys characteristics system terms tendency bulk alloys.
